Through asthma, I was able to experience the suffocating feeling of catching your breath. Manifested as a physical object, Flovent HFA explores the functionality of transforming a tool meant to help you breathe that ends up suffocating you more. Drawing a parallel between Western medicine and the lack of research on chronic pain evokes a feeling similar to how my piece affects the body of the person wearing it.
